This policy ensures a safe, professional, and productive work environment. Because we operate around customers, equipment, vehicles, chemicals, and drones, impairment of any kind creates unacceptable risk to employees, clients, and the public.

2. Zero-Tolerance Standard The company maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy for:

• Illegal drugs

• Alcohol during work hours

• Being under the influence while operating equipment, driving, or performing any job duties

• Misuse of prescription medication that impairs judgment, coordination, or reaction time

• Marijuana impairment during work hours (even if legally purchased)

Any violation may result in immediate suspension or termination.

3. Prohibited Behavior Employees may not:

• Possess, use, sell, distribute, or be under the influence of drugs or alcohol while on company property, job sites, or in company vehicles • Report to work impaired or smelling of alcohol or marijuana

• Consume alcohol during breaks, lunch, or between job sites

• Use or possess drug paraphernalia

• Operate drones, pressure-washing equipment, ladders, or vehicles under any level of impairment

4. Prescription & Over-the-Counter Medication Employees must notify management if they are taking medication that may affect:

• Alertness

• Coordination

• Reaction time

• Ability to operate equipment safely

This information is confidential and used only to ensure safe job assignments.

5. Testing Requirements

Employees may be required to undergo drug or alcohol testing under the following conditions:

a. Pre-Employment Testing Not required.

b. Random Testing May occur at any time without notice.

c. Post-Incident Testing Required after:

• Workplace injuries

• Equipment damage

• Drone incidents

• Vehicle accidents

• Near-miss events

d. Reasonable Suspicion Testing

Triggered when a supervisor observes:

• Slurred speech

• Odor of alcohol or marijuana

• Unsteady movement

• Erratic behavior

• Impaired judgment

Refusal to test is treated as a positive result.

6. Company Vehicles & Equipment Employees must be sober and unimpaired when:

• Driving company vehicles

• Towing trailers

• Handling hoses

• Operating drones

• Using pressure-washing or soft-wash equipment

Any impairment while operating equipment is grounds for immediate removal from duty.

7. Reporting Responsibilities

Employees must immediately report:

• Suspected impairment of a coworker

• Unsafe behavior

• Drug or alcohol use on job sites

• Any incident involving equipment or vehicles

Reports can be made directly to management and will be kept confidential.

8. Consequences of Violations Depending on severity, consequences may include:

• Removal from job site

• Mandatory testing

• Written warning

• Suspension

• Termination

• Loss of company vehicle privileges

Commercial clients often require strict compliance — violations may also result in removal from future projects.

9. Support & Resources

Employees struggling with substance use are encouraged to seek help. The company may provide referrals to support programs, but safety requirements remain in effect at all times.

SAFETY POLICY

1. Purpose Safety is the foundation of our company. Because we work with drones, chemicals, hoses, ladders, and pressurized equipment — often around the public — every employee is responsible for maintaining a safe work environment at all times. No job, deadline, or customer request is more important than safety.

2. Safety Standards & Compliance All employees must comply with:

• OSHA safety standards

• FAA Part 107 regulations

• Manufacturer guidelines for all equipment

• Company SOPs and checklists

• Site-specific safety rules provided by clients

Failure to follow safety procedures may result in removal from the job site or disciplinary action.

3. Required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

Employees must wear appropriate PPE at all times, including:

• Safety glasses

• Gloves suitable for chemical handling

• Non-slip, closed-toe footwear

• High-visibility vest or shirt

• Hearing protection when required

• Hard hats when required by the facility PPE must be inspected before each shift and replaced if damaged.

4. Jobsite Safety Rules To protect employees, clients, and the public, the following rules apply to every job:

a. Pre-Job Checklist No work begins until the pre-job checklist is completed, including:

• Site walk

• Hazard identification

• Water access verification

• Electrical access verification

• Cone and signage placement

• Safe launch/landing zone for drone operations

b. Work Zone Control

• Cones and caution tape must be placed before equipment is set up.

• Pedestrian pathways must be protected or redirected.

• Vehicles and equipment must be positioned to avoid blocking emergency access.

c. Weather Restrictions Work must stop immediately if:

• Winds exceed safe operating limits

• Lightning is present

• Heavy rain reduces visibility

• Ice or snow creates slip hazards

d. Chemical Safety

• Only approved chemicals may be used.

• SDS sheets must be accessible on every job site.

• Employees must avoid overspray near vehicles, landscaping, or pedestrians.

5. Ladder & Roof Safety

Although drone cleaning reduces ladder use, the following rules apply when ladders or roof access are required:

• Ladders must be inspected before each use.

• Only trained employees may climb ladders or access roofs.

• Fall protection must be used when required by OSHA.

• No employee may work on a roof alone.

6. Drone Safety Requirements

Drone operations introduce unique risks. The following rules are mandatory:

a. Authorized Operators Only Only FAA Part 107 certified pilots may operate drones.

b. Pre-Flight Requirements

• Complete pre-flight checklist

• Inspect drone, batteries, and payload

• Confirm weather conditions

• Establish safe launch/landing zone

• Notify client contact before takeoff

c. Flight Safety

• Maintain visual line of sight at all times

• No flying over uninvolved people

• No flying in restricted airspace without authorization

• No flying near power lines or reflective surfaces without caution

• Stop flight immediately if pedestrians enter the work zone

d. Emergency Procedures Pilots must be prepared to:

• Initiate immediate landing

• Cut power if necessary

• Secure the area after an incident

• Report all incidents to management

7. Equipment Safety Employees must:

• Inspect all equipment daily

• Report damage or malfunction immediately

• Never bypass safety features

• Never attempt unauthorized repairs

• Store equipment properly after each job

8. Vehicle Safety Employees operating company vehicles must:

• Hold a valid driver’s license

• Follow all traffic laws

• Drive defensively

• Secure equipment properly before transport

• Report accidents or damage immediately

9. Incident Reporting

Employees must report the following immediately:

• Injuries

• Near misses

• Property damage

• Equipment failure

• Drone incidents

• Customer complaints related to safety

A written incident report must be completed within 24 hours.

10. Disciplinary Action Violations of this policy may result in:

• Verbal or written warnings

• Suspension

• Removal from job sites

• Termination
